Revealing the molecular mechanisms underpinning the cell fate determination process is fundamental to our understanding of tissue-homeostasis, malignancy and regenerative medicine. My rotation project focuses on applying dynamic modeling to understand the mechanisms of cell cycle control upon the mating signal in budding yeast.
